I also have free oil changes for life AND a service credit for a specific amount, but only because I feel they royaly screwed me when I bought the car and ended up having it out with the general manager. This was all they would "do for me" as I felt I was out more to the tune of $8000......but that's a long story, and happened over a year ago now.
Do any of you plan to keep taking it in for the "reccomended" service intervals?
I'm a huge fan of VEX Performance. I'm pretty sure their 20k service isn't going to clean you out for $500.

Taking mine in for the 16000 km service tomorrow, which I guess is equivalent to Subaru's 20000 km service? And mine will be $190 but this includes unmounting my winter tires off the stock wheels and mounting the stock Michelins back on and balancing. Without the tire change, it would have cost me just $60 for the whole service. $500 is too much.

I agree, the dealership is always the most expensive route to go and I only am taking it there for the free oil changes, and of course to use my service credit.
Once that is used up, I will probably look into alternative places to get service done.
I change my wheels myself since I have 2 sets of rims. (winter and stock), and I usually touch up my red painted calipers as they take a beating through the winter.
Here is the PDF they sent me from the dealership regarding service intervels and what they do.

She sounds sick man! Sorry I didn't get to go for a ride, got side tracked and then had to head back down to Calgary.

You coming to the 780 meet next month? Would be sick if we can get the same turn out for that.

Thanks! No worries haha. Pretty raspy and defs sounds like a 4 cyl with no cats, not for everyone but I like it though, reminds me of how an ae86 should sound

Will be there forsure! Just gotta figure out how to prevent my midpipe from vibrating against the passenger floor haha.

Can't believe the turn out for the first meet of the year!

Find us a venue in Calgary and we would be happy to use it, sadly no one wants us.
