Too late for a BRZ this year?
I have been going back and forth trying (begging, pleading) for information from my Subaru dealership for the past 3 weeks.
What I've been told: They have 3 allocations for May - November. One of them has been ordered, and is arriving any day. It's a Black Limited w/ an automatic . I have asked if I can put down a deposit to secure one of the other 2 allocations, but they want me to come in and see the first car when it arrives. I am guessing because I have expressed interest in a Premium, not a Limited ... and they want to upsell the Limited when I see it in person. I have also been told that apparently any special ordered vehicle at this point would not be available until November at the earliest. I was supprised to hear this. Am I really too late to get a car later this summer? |

Look around, you may have to drive a few hours but someone's got to have one...

Check auto trader, don't let the limited availability hype get to you. I found a car on auto trader last week and picking it up tomorrow or the day after.

Well cars are just starting to trickle in. If you are patient you will find one.

Its not too late
Just bought mine that is across the country. Having it shipped to me by truck. Just look at every dealer on google map and check their website. If it has the one you want, give them a call. It took me 2 weeks to track one down. |

Don't use autotrader. You'll have to get it before it comes in so you'll have to go to dealer pages and look for "in transit" or call and see when/if they're getting any in and then jump on one if it's unsold.

I live in Louisiana, but I ended up going with a car in New Hampshire. I'm flying up there on Friday to drive it down. I'm taking a few days of vacation and just making a trip out of it. Point being, if you're willing to travel, you could probably get the exact color and package option you wanted within a month. It just depends on how badly you want it.
