The rear wanting to step out to the right happens to me too and I'm pretty sure it's due to the crown in the road. Basically the roads are built where the high point is on the middle and it slopes slightly to the sides in order to keep standing water from building up in the middle. |

Snowed again. Much tail out many slides. Didn't crash but did freak out everyone who drove behind me.

car next to me yesterday spun out and came within 3 feet of hitting me. scary as heck. at first i thought he was just merging into my lane without realizing i was in his blind spot, so i just slowed down to let him in. then i realized he was out of control as he came right in front of me at a 45 degree angle, passing perpendicular in front of me, and ended up in the ditch to the right. thankfully he did not roll over.

drove to College station from my home(6hr drive) and back...on the way there it was drizzle and more drizzle...as I was passing a semi, the car went through some kind of uneven spot in the road and threw the rear end out about a foot...pucker factor 10. I did not crash. Always a fun car on back roads.

Last night I was driving through my neighborhood at like 11pm. Empty dark residential street. A random woman darted out like she was going to run/jaywalk across, then she stopped in the middle, so I had to stomp the brakes. She starts yelling at me and waving me to go around, so I start moving slowly to go around her, but then she started walking in front of me as I'm moving, like she wants me to hit her. So I stopped, and then decided since there was no oncoming traffic to gun the car in 1st/2nd and pass her in the opposite lane.
Not fun. Also drove my BRZ today.. in a dream. Actually more of a nightmare. Was on some two lane road and a douche was in the opposite lane and purposely sideswiped me so the whole left side was scraped up/dented, and the guy then had the nerve to flip me off. dafuq? |

It amazes me how stupid people can be around moving vehicles. Pedestrians and cyclists have more "rights" than ever but some people just don't get that at the end of the day roads are for cars and your rights aren't going to mean much to you when you are smeared across the pavement - well at least you had the right of way? maybe? Doesn't sound that way in this case. I have a sliver more empathy for those hit by cars than I do for those hit by trains. |

Arrived at a stop light on my way home, in the right turn lane. There's some guy in a mercedes or something blocking the right turn lane because they tried to change lanes too late and got stuck between lanes. Right lane is clear ahead of them, plenty of opportunity to make a right turn on red, but they're blocking me so I have to wait for a green light so they can get out of the way. Pulled up behind them and revved it a bit, just to say hi and let them know they were inconveniencing me. Then I hear an answering rev from a minivan next to me. Did not crash.
