Any news on this yet?

Just heard from the anodizer, the pulleys are supposed to be at Raceseng this Friday at the latest. We need to engrave them and get them loaded up to our site.

I'm as anxious as you are!

So it looks like the total set us just under 2lbs? Any idea what the combined weight is for all the stock pieces? Just wondering what the overall weight reduction is

As a CNC machinist i have to say that pulley looks pretty kickass. I've always wondered if a design like that would whistle. Only one way to find out.
Keep up the good work.

Aren't these threads supposed to be posted in the vendor forums? A thread posted here is just like any other.

CaptainSlow - We are going to do a final "weigh in" when the pulleys are back from the anodizer. We made some subtle machining changes to the pulleys.

We will post the final weights on here as soon as we can. Thanks!

So far Tomioka has the lightest set alternator (.15lbs) and water pump (.50lbs). if you can have that weight or even less, I will get them hands down. Tomioka pulls a figure out of their ass with "gain 10hp" which sounds like bull. Their crank is the heaviest though (1.75 compared to .75 to .80 lbs from other competitors). Yeah, I study the option, know your competition.

Anyway, looking forward to your pieces and your competitive price.

What do you mean by everything in the Revo 2? One extra pulley i assume. i have just noticed that the crank is much lighter than the crank from perrin which is good I suppose. Cant wait to see this out/group buy it.

Subject to price, put me down for one.
Are there going to be other colors available? I am after black ones but silver would do just fine.

We make lightweight flywheels for other engine applications and my gut says there is no way you will see a 10hp gain from pulleys. You will see and increase and the speed of engine acceleration and deceleration. This change will be very noticeably in the pedal and RPM gauge.

Our crank pulley is in the .8 lbs range.

The Revo Kit S2 comes with our aluminum idler pulleys, crank, water and alternator.

The Revo Kit S1 comes with the crank, water and alternator.

Our first anodizing run was black and clear.

I know there is no way to get such gains out of that so it is all good. Looking forward to release price and final weight. Do you have a clear estimate as I have been waiting for months? B-)

With less drag on the engine, can you predict at least some gains in fuel economy as well? I'd assume so, anyway
