In that vein, if I do square up, I would definitely get a stiffer front sway bar to counter the oversteer I'd get. Coilovers will have to wait. Honda put on some REALLY good suspension from the factory and I don't see the return on investment for my skill level right off the bat.
You've definitely put thought into it, I'm sure whatever you do you'll improve the car and have more fun.

Just an aside on this... for OTA, it doesn't matter if you have OEM hardware, if the alignment is outside the factory alignment specs then you get dinged for 1 PIP.

Interesting. So non OEM alignment automatically dings me eh?

I'm planning to attend the OTA school but not necessarily partake in the OTA competition yet - I need another year of seasoning in the S2000 before I can join the big boys club.

If that's the case, I'm slapping on my Spoon front offset ball joint kits and get MOAR CAMBER. At PITL, that'll move me to C-Mod but I am usually equivalent to top 3 in that class anyways so it doesn't kill me there either.

The wording of the rule for OTA is "outside the factory specifications", so if the factory spec range is +/- 0.5* and you have -1*, you're dinged. Doesn't matter what was done to get to that setting.

Then I am even more f*cked. Honda's exact wording leaves NO TOLERANCES on the alignment (which is messed up - I work with tolerances and eat them for breakfast all day). Here's the excerpt from the manual:
