Rev match downshift possible with OFT

Hey guys, got my OFT today, pretty exciting, updating to the latest files and such, modifying the RPM delta, that kind of basic stuff. I remember that RaceRom (Ecutek) had the option of rev matching downshift on manuals cars, I was wondering if such a thing was possible with the OFT ? I know most of you guys will tell me just do it yourself and such and I'm not agaisnt that since I really improved my technique, but still wondering if it's an option that I didn't see and if it could be added ? @Shiv@Openflash

I think it was on visconti tune where they said it was finicky and only recommended for track use. And it was't very accurate either. They took it out of their standard maps for that reason.

If you can heel toe it is probably much better than this "feature". I can heel toe [poorly] and I haven't blown it up yet in 30k miles (fingers crossed)

Heh. The AT rev match does a better job than I ever could with a manual.

Here here. Even if we had a solution for auto-blip, I could never see myself every using it. Kind of takes much of the fun out of driving a manual transmission. And unless it's done perfectly, it actually gets in the way of performance driving.

So shive, I just updated oft to 2.0 stage 2 uel e85 and feel like its bogging down low, does it take time for the ecu to relearn the new map or is it pretty normal or expected out of the latest map?

I don't see why he would look again on an unrelated thread, but from what I've understood, flash the car, turn the key on for 20 seconds without pressing the throttle, start the car then leave it idle a bit, it should stabilize everything. Also make sure you got E85 haha

Did that, let it idle for 5min, definitely e85 in there. Ill just call em up mondat

Hi, read the info on logging and E85 tunes below

Log your fuel trims and see what your LTFT looks like at low rpm if its over 10 its either still learning (should only take 15 minutes) as per learning info drive smooth and steady for 10-15 minutes should sort it , do you have stock intake aftermarket intakes can cause problems.

I did the same thing, updated to Stg 2 v2.03 UEL e85 map and the "dead pedal" also happened to me. Just drive slowly with moderation to the gas pedal, making sure to keep it under 3,500 rpms. It should take about 15- 20 miles for the pedal to stiffen up so the ecu relearns from the map.
