BSR Refrigerator Bowl

Anyone want some seat time for the winter? A few of us from PTUNING will be joining Twitchy Racing and some NASA friends for some colder weather track time.

Cool. Can't make the first event, but hopefully a couple of the others. PCA Potomac has been running autox on the Jeff once a year. Always a pain for course design with the limited room (on and off pavement). This year was better using the expanded Jeff. Didn't want the slalom heading down the hill, but that turn seemed a bit to sketchy in that direction at faster speeds. (not me driving)

We dominated the turnout with like 8 twins there.

The track surface felt freezing to the touch - the air warmed up later in the day but even on my final run of the last heat I was fighting for grip.

Here's the course we ran in the afternoon on the Shenandoah Circuit:

Yea, it was a lot harder for the FWD cars to get heat into their rear tires. Weather turned out great for the second session. We all got a good amount of runs. Next up is Dec 13. Only 6 spots left!

Went to the December event last weekend with my Supra alongside some other Toyota buddies - some 1UZ MKIIIs, a Celica, and a red FRS. Weather was amazing and we all had a great time.

Here's my fastest run of the second round despite my brake fluid boiling:

Both courses started on hills so I couldn't do the pedal dance - and I needed to trailbrake for both.

If it's very cold on 10 January for the next round I'm thinking of running Pirelli Sottozero Serie II performance winter tires.
Maybe I will subscribe to your YouTube channel for updates.

I was there in my SLK55. Maybe I'll take the FRS to the January event just to get it out on track. Not quite track day, but still good fun!
