Is this a 4.125 bore 427? Square, Rectangle or Cathedral on the heads? I’m interested to see how your build progresses. After I get the get the track day bug out of my system, I’d like to switch from N/A power to some kind of Forced induction too.

There are plenty of Vettes Vipers and Mustangs out there with 2000 hp these days and even those cars are so heavily modded there isn’t much left of the original car so why not an 86? That said, aside from the car being an 86 chassis, there really won’t be much else about it that has anything to do with an 86 and you are going more extreme than most so most of the information you find here won’t be very useful.

I’ve found much more useful information at the following sites;

YellowBullet - https://www.yellowbullet.com/forum/#/

Techls1 - https://ls1tech.com/forums/

And even the corvette forums will have more pertinent information. - https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/

With the Motec, are you trying to retain all or most of the factory functions? Pure Automotives Motec kit works very well in doing that, however they use an M130 not the M150 but perhaps they could put together a package with the M150 for you if that’s what you need.

The guys at Pure would be the biggest experts on adding serious power in this chassis. They will point you towards success.

This is what i thought in the beginning..
And this is why i start to post pic and evidence.. Hhhh..

So i measure the wieght of the car totaly empty to know where we are..
And i start to take diminsion for the custom rear end that we will make..
Total wieght is both kg and LB..

We will be using 29.5 inch diameter tyre.. As we will need a lot of grip for the power we are looking for

So the final update of today is that i started taking measermemt for the rear end and tyres
But chassis is stoping ua from puting 315/50/15 tyres
So i tried the 275 a nd i think we will be able to fit it
Without any adjustment on the chassis
Put the question is
Will this tyre be able tohold the 1600whp to the street...

Need your advice and help please

Share this with your expreties and give me back some answer..

I think this will be a 6sec street car..

Can't fit wide tires? That is what they make sawzalls for.

That’s a whole lot of power to be putting down on just two tires on a light rear end. Can you not get some 13” or 14”? A 315/50r13 is only .75” more diameter then stock same with 295/45r15. 315/45r14 is only .5” bigger. Not sure what sizes are available in the tire you want to run though.

To fit the drag tires and wheels, you will probably need a rebuilt, reinforced rear subframe. You must have seen this 1600 hp BRZ before but just in case.

In the end, you will only have a shell resembling the original car. This is a complete car rebuild project.

we cut 1.16 60 ft's and run low/mid 7's with a 28" et street pro on the rear making roughly 1600ish whp. from a stop, I couldn't get the same tire to dead hook on my 700whp 2jz swap street frs leaving on a trans brake. not without doing a few burnouts and getting some rubber laid down on the road
