Refinished wheels slight color mismatch

So I brought 2 of my trd wheels to the shop for a bent and scratch repair. When I got the wheels back they were different color compared to the other 2 stock trds. The best way to describe it is it looks a hint of greyish instead of full matte black. Any cheap ways to fix this? I dont want the greyish color but not looking to spend too much on the wheels again

Put the dark ones on one side and the light ones on the other?

Take them back to the repair place and tell them they don't match?

Plastidip all 4?

luckily they are already on one side (staggered setup)

the repair shop said it can not be perfectly matched due to new and old paint..

wouldnt want to plastidip on trd rims :/

would glossifier work? but it still wont change the color to more black

and would wax work?

How noticeable is it if they are on differing sides of the car? Unfortunately painting / powder coating is probably the best thing to do but won't be cheap.

Realistically unless they are really far off you're probably best off just leaving them.

25% of what? 8 bit color, that's a LOT.

If it's way off then I would go back to the shop that painted them. Aged paint difference should be very minimal, if they are different colors then somebody goofed and it should be made right. Hard to tell without seeing them.

Some people are super into how their wheels look so it might be worth it to someone. Up to you really, it wouldn't be worth it to me.

I would have thought that older paint would gray over time if anything... not the new paint coming out lighter. Sounds like they didn't spray the right paint or didn't know what the oem wheel looked like to match.

Looks to me like a satin black vs matte(or flat) black problem.
A Couple of spray cans and you'll be good.
Or some tire shine.

The kind that sprays paint.
Ask the shop that fixed it what color/finish they sprayed it.
And then decide/find out what the original color is. It looks more satin rather than flat or matte to me. Then buy some paint spray cans and do a test spray on a random object and see if it is darker. It probably won't match perfectly, but it should be better than the matte that is on there now.

Dupicolor wheel paint is popular.
Matte is usually more greyish than satin.
Start with light coats to slowly go towards the original finish without going past it.
