It's a full slick. I guess the OEM tyres will have different sizes.

Just a thought, but those BBS wheels don't seem to be off the shelf. I'm thinking they might just be the stock wheels (ala STI) or at least a factory option (ala WRX).

FT-86 should appear between 0:24 - 0:27 seconds, following a very loud BMW(?) so that is why we cannot hear any sound..

They're off the shelf BBS RF wheels from BBS Japan.

Shocks are made by KYB by the way. Or at least.. that's what I saw written on the 4 spare shocks in the pitbox.
The LFA was withing 20kg of the race car if I recall correctly. Yeah the 86 is stripped out, but it also has a cage, air jack system, telemetry and data acquisition equipment. I'll go out on a limb and get my hopes up that it will actually weigh about 1150kg.

To put it in perspective, it finished on the same lap as the S2000, a few minutes down. That's a damn good performance in my opinion. Have you seen the particular Type R? Looks like it belongs to a seasoned race team. This isn't a few hot laps at a normal track, this is endurance racing @ the nurburgring.

Telemetry and data system weighs the same as a smartphone.. I've seen it and it's sticked to the front windshield with a small antenna.

LF-A is a different car, different class with BoP (balance of performance) rules. These rules simply state that the LF-A should weigh AT LEAST 1450kg and it has 2x ø34.2 air restrictors.

I understand that. That being said, this car is here to test, as much as it is for marketing. So you'd want to test the car with similar specs to production so as not to invalidate testing no?

Anyway, thanks for the insight in class differences. I was under the impression that SP3 was subject to BoP as well.

Michel, you mentioned 200ps and I noticed that they are running race gas. There are no engine mods in this class correct? I wonder if they did some addition mapping in which might lower the oem HP.

Oh anyone else notice how the brake duct is just a hole cut into that fake blocked off duct? Fake duct on production?... Please don't add drag for this purpose...
