Looking for some second opinions. I want to run Enkei Kojins staggered 17x8/17x9 both with +45mm offsets. I have a set of TRD springs on the way, the rest of the suspension is stock. I'm thinking about Dunlop Direzza ZII's in 245/40R17 front and 255/40R17 rear. I'm pretty sure the wheels will fit fine but I'm not completely sure about the tires.

I hope everything turns out well.

They'll fit, I have same width wheels and size tires. Im running 2.5 rear camber though and am not slammed just barely a finger gap height.

Is the offset on your wheels the same? I don't want to change the camber. I just want wider tires/wheels as the stock ones look undersized. Personally I don't like the hella flush look. Thanks for your input!

My wheels are +42 so I think the fitment will be spot on with your +45 actually a bit better as you won't have any issues at all running with the fenders. Looks lower from a side angle.. but as you may see the camber(2.5) is not noticeable and is far from hella stance junk.. i hate that.

Awesome, thank you very much. That looks almost exactly like how I want it to fit.

How much drop from the stock height is that!?

That's the perfect on spot. My wheels are coming in (17x9 40+) and I'm thinking about Hankook Ventus V12 in 245/40/17 or 255/40/17.

I love them meaty tires!

I want to run enkei raijins 18x9.5 all around with 255/?/? Michelin pilot super sports. I went to discount tire and the sells rep was concerned about clearing 255 in the front. I plan on getting coilovers but will I need lower control arms for the rear? If anyone could chime in, that would be great.

255/35/18

do not need them. what offset.

with coilovers it won't be an issue, stock struts won't clear.

The lower the offset, the more the wheel will poke outwards away from the car. The higher the offset, the closer the wheel will be to the strut. For example +20 offset gives you a good amount of poke which means if the car isn't lowered, the wheel will pass the fender and stick out. Whereas +35 or higher is what some people use with camber once the car is lowered on springs or coil overs to get that flush tuck of the wheel underneath the fender. but with wheels that wide, you will need camber to make it fit and possibly spacers. It just depends on what you're going for.
