2017 facelift gt86/brz sound deadening improvements

has anyone noticed improvements in sound deadening in the facelifted models? i read somewhere they improved this from the previous models and if so what are the parts they added? i.e. what are the extra sound deadening bits?

Yes, no idea. Need to take on apart to see what they've done. I suspect some wheel well insulation, firewall and dash.

I confirm that the noise reduction they did in the 2017 model is very noticeable from previous models

The robin egg blue part still needs removed for the least amount of noise.
