Exhaust mods on stock exhaust

In case anyone was wanting to go all out on the exhaust system but keep it kinda quiet here's a setup...Borla UEL headers, Borla cat delete overpipe/frontpipe combo, stock exhaust w/ Perrin tips. Quiet as anything in the cabin, pretty smooth sounding outside. Shout out to FT86Speedfactory for the parts and best customer service. (Also running a few engine mods, but a tale for another day)

I like the way the car sounds with Uel headers on stock exhaust.

The cat delete adds a little growl, but there is zero drone on the highway, love it

If that second video posted by the same user is you, I really like that and now I know I am looking for headers first!

I have the catless J2 front pipe everything else stock and cold start is probably about 10db louder while regular driving maybe like 2db. A little rasp but still very nice as far as tone goes, especially between 2-3k rpm where drone would normally take place. I recommend.

J2 frontpipe + Borla UEL = Eargasm

I wish these posts had existed back in the fall of 2012.
I wouldn't have purchased my Catted Perrin Front Pipe & Perrin Resonated Catback 2.5" Exhaust System, then installing Equal Length Headers and having to sell these components to excellent folks on this forum for 50% of my cost.
I realize the dissenters will arrive in mass with this post, but maybe I'll save folks the wasted cash....
In my exhaust expensive experience with this car, "If your car is a NA daily driver your best exhaust choices are"
1. A high quality coated Equal Length Header and a tune for that header. Catalytic Converter is optional.
2. A high quality Overpipe/Front Pipe with a Helmholtz Resonator from Nameless Performance. Catalytic Converter is optional.
3. Leave the stock catback on the car and buy some decorative tips.

Idle

Rev

Your ears (no amount of Rammat and Ensolite keep the exhaust noise completely out), your neighbors (told my daughter that their newborn wasn't awakened by her car anymore), and the deputy sheriffs (Palm Beach County, FL, "Miss, What's your hurry?") will thank you

Honestly, I really like that. I'm glad I heard this. I was considering getting a cutback first and will defiinitely do the EL header first.
