I generally agree... I'm certainly not worried about my engine bay being dirty. But the problem is that in fact, if the fender liner is in good condition, the wheel wells are basically air tight in stock configuration. Certainly there's still plenty of dust coming in the engine bay, but it's mostly coming through the front rather than what's kicked up by the wheels. Once you switch to camber plates, that's not the case anymore. I'm not worried about the front, but the rear is another story. Some people are obsessive about cleanliness in their cars though. In the end, duct tape fixes all |

I, on the other hand, obsess about dirty engines. The modern digitization of the the auto world has complicated my neurosis - I am really reluctant to douse all those electronics with water so I try to keep crud ingress to a minimum.
In stock form it's not too big a problem. However, once I get my Xidas I'll have to sort things out. If dust is a problem, unsightly duct tape is out of the question. I'm working on a small plastic plate that will seal the opening and slide with the camber adjuster.

I swear when I read some of these posts, I think we are getting trolled. Some turn out to be legitimate questions which scare me even more.
