Probably unnecessary but here is a picture of the switch that turns on the electric fan inside the piping.

Edit:Sorry about weird formatting, tried to downsize the picture in paint. Also I'm going to talk to the salesperson at the dealership I went to and push a little harder again but still be nice about it.

That's going to throw off the MAF compensation for sure. The electric fan isn't anything special. No telling what the fan vortices are doing to the MAF sensor just 12 inches away. I'd recommend pulling a stock intake from a junkyard car. Disconnect the battery, then install the stock intake. Reconnect the battery and drive. CEL should be gone and stay gone. Car will drive normally now, unless it has a tune.

Unfortunaty that intake is rubbish. Just bin it an put stock one back on, wreckers should have plenty of stock intakes.

The maf is way to close to throttle body and its likely different tube size and will just cause you problems even if you tried to "scale maf" with tuning.

I called it back in post #22. In fact from the little bit of the fittings we can see it may be the very one I posted. Get that crap out of there it was nothing but somebody playing the "I have a supercharger" BS card. Not only messing with your sensors but sucking loads of nice hot air into the system as well. I normally defend dealers but that one should be flogged for selling you the car with that shit on it!!!!
