is that a stock s2k, they barely had any drive train loss, ~235whp is quick in a FRS or s2k

As already mentioned, you can see rwhp dyno results all over the place. General concensus is ~200rwhp, a little less for AP1, little more for AP2.

for those who owned s2k, what do ap1 and ap2 dyno stock anyway?
My 02 AP1 with K&N FIPK, catless test pipe pulled 202 whp and 136 wtq on a dynojet.

AP2 04-09:The AP2 also included the introduction of a larger version of the F20C for the North American market. Designated F22C1, the engine's stroke was lengthened, increasing its displacement to 2,157 cc (132 cu in). At the same time, the redline was reduced from 8,800 rpm to 8,000 rpm with a cutout at 8,200 rpm, mandated by the longer travel of the pistons. Peak torque increased 6% to 162 lbf·ft (220 N·m) at 6,800 rpm while power output was reduced to 237 hp (177 kW) at a lower 7,800 rpm.

after checking the new car sticker on mine it was some how rated at the 250HP range not sure why as it seems most here in the USA were the 240hp....?
Technically the power of the engine did not change from the earlier 240 rating. Rather, the SAE changed their testing regiment. If you applied the new(er) SAE testing regiment to the older AP1s you should get the same figure (237hp).

Either way the general consensus is that the F22C1 is slightly stronger.

AP2 has a little more TQ for DD use than AP1. Either way, power is pretty uneventful until VTEC. The fun factor in the S2k is just that much more apparent than the BRZ/FRS right now.

Just thought I'd update this to stir the pot a little more. After driving a newer Mustang for the first time I've decided on a 2013 Boss 302 as my next vehicle. Yes, quite a bit more expensive than an FRS/BRZ or even an S2k for that matter, but holy crap it was fun to drive.
