guys, could you NOT quote every photo if the post is on the same page...its annoying.

anyways that looks pretty good, the fact you're only a +42 offset is your saving grace, under hard cornering i think you will rub in the front fender, the rear can just rub itself out.
and damn that rear camber is out of sack i bet it feels great on the street though.

I agree, there is a good chance. Im rubbing my frame rail and firewall at full lock with 255/40's on a 18x9.5 +38, not sure what offset hes at but im sure his smaller sidewall equals out to the same rubing as i have, wich is completely tolerable, tho im stock ride hieght and alignment.

pulling the caster forward some would help alot with going bigger. Ill be doing that with mine. So much to buy still.

Thx gents, I'm sure the full thrashing will bring to light any real issues. Yeah & that +42 seems to be a good compromise for the setup.

What is considered "maximun meat" (size/width) for a non dropped suspension? I'd be willing to use small spacers and a basic crash bolt to help tuck the top in on the front. Low driveways and Cali roads are keeping me from lowering or compromising the ride quality.. Thanks Meatchachos!

I've seen 235's all around fit no problem and I hear 245's fit in the rear stock. Not sure what else works stock but I'm curious too since I'm keeping the suspension stock as well.

Don't go too wide on stock wheels... It'll look silly!

Im still on stock suspension, i fit 255/40/18 up front and 265/40/18 in back. 18x9.5 +38 all around. It pokes a little, and only ever rubs at full lock in front and full compression in rear.

If you care about the little bit of poke and rubbing but still want to be wide, id say get some camber adjustable tophats for the front, i think camber bolts will push the tire into the strut before you fix any poke and higher offset wheels would definetly cuase more problems.

As for the back going slightly higher offset will fix the poke. You might even be able to fit a 275 in the rear with a higher offset wheel, id have to go check how much room i still have to know for sure. Other option would be getting adjustable lca's and adding a bit of camber.

All problems could be solved by just running coilovers at factory ride height tho, then you can run whatever everyone else is running.

@Norkoastal , sadly switching to wider tires/wheels is going to affect the ride quality. Your car will feel a bit stiffer.

I can tell you that the 42 off is a magic number with the 275/35. We have been running this for some time and have put several track days on them. There is always a trade off with size. We are still playing with spring weights on our car and if this turnout the way we think they will we might even drop the car a touch more. We did a lot of research to get the biggest tire on this car useing the stock fenders and a square setup.

Thx for all this info.. I'm not looking for any poke or width beyond 7.5 (stock limit), more or less just a better fill in the wells (max meat) with a more flush look (light spacers/camber bolt).

Appologies, didnt know you wanted to stay stock wheels too. Thought you just ment stock suspension. Wish i could help you out, but i didnt even bother with doing anything with my stock wheels. Definetly dont think i would go over 245 on a 7.5 but thats about all the info i can accurately give you. sorry.

I'm not sure what "meaty" is maybe I missed it.. 245 and bigger???

I have 245/40 18 on gramlight 57DR 18x9.5 +38 using RSR sport-i coilovers

Again, hope that's meaty enough.. If not, I'm sorry I'll delete this, so far only rubbing was the right front fender and of course the rear bumbler tabs.. I raised it about a 1/4" and all seems good

@Norkoastal put a set of 235/40/17 I'm your stock rims and you will be happy!! We're used that setup prior to the jump to our 275/35/18.
