So to owners who have experienced a CEL on low mileage, what is typically the cause? I've tried the gas cap already and don't have the time at the moment to get it checked out yet.

Thanks for reading!

LOL That is why I always read (still manage to miss important info and say something silly every now and then though).

Finally received my OBD2 scanner and got the codes P119F and P219A. Scanner has a "permanent code" option and P219A was in there, is that bad?

Problem seems to be some kind of "air/fuel ratio imbalance bank 1." But there aren't way too many info on these codes. Any thoughts?

OK, good start ...... the code reader will be a handy tool for you.

Now like @86geek suggested .....take your car into the dealer and ask them to fix it ...

If only it was so easy to "take it to the dealer." Work has to permit and weekends are packed with appointments. There are literally no free spots on Saturdays even up till 2018 on their online system lol. Will try to call tomorrow though of course.

For cryen out loud, Oxyg3n, with automobile ownership comes a responsibility to maintain your most likely second biggest investment.

You live in the bay area ....... it's not like you're in the middle of Montana.

....... figure it out how you're gonna get it to the dealer ......

Do you have any sort of vacation time? If so, take a day so you can handle the issue(s) with the car. You also don't have to go to the dealer that you bought it from. Take it to any Subaru dealer in the area. Someone's got to have time on a Saturday, or you've got to be able to take some time from work to drop the car off and get a loaner from the dealer.

Or call AAA (get it if you don't have it) and have them tow it to the dealer some time that the dealer has available.
