Wow this guy can seriously do some work, i really admire your skill level and enthusiasm. It takes a lot of will and dedication to do this in anything less than a full pro shop with all tools available. I'm following this closely, the piping looks to be nice and thick as opposed to most others where its tapered. The turbo looks like a 20G, we used them back in the days in Mitsubishi eclipses. Please continue with this marvel.

Im really happy with the progress today! The turbo that i chose uses an internal wastegate. This keeps the cost of the build down, involves less fabrication and generally speaking, takes up less room in the engine bay. The downside is the location of the actuator, therefor i cannot mount the turbo as low as i would of like in the engine bay and the actuator is very close to the fans. Basically, i had to build an extension from the merge collector up to the T3 flange. I built the piece quite long but i then shortened it out so it looks worse then it really is here is a couple of shots!

2" pipe cut in half

Went to a friends shop and used his shear to make 2 pieces of flat stainless to fit the piece as good as possible to the T3 flange

The welders used in the build

Now that the GF got her share of attention for the night and that she is slerping, i can get back to work! I clocked the cold side of the turbine to finalize my piping and started working on the downpipe! I still need to figure out the actuator but this is a detail....

Awesome, what sizes are the intercooler pipes, they seem to be equal on bout ends on the intercooler unlike most other kits. This is looking great!!

I am sorry to tell you that you are wrong. The passenger side pipe is a 2" from imtercooler to turbo, notice the reducer coupler on the intercooler. The other side is a 2.5" from the intercooler till behind the headlight and then switches to 3" to reach the throttle body, the 3" piece still needs to be built. I hope that i answered your questions!

AHH, i see, missed that since i just glanced over it and looked too even to be true lol. Good work none the less, most other kits have a really small diameter hot side intercooler piping and this one looked bigger Keep the pics coming, this is amazing work.
