Welcome,

Make sure you research what 19's do to your car,

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10215

I don't think 19's are a good choice if you still want to enjoy the little performance (At the reef) and great driving dynamics of the 86.

If you are all for 'stance', and willing purchase coilovers, adjustable control arms, links etc or even air suspension, and park your car at car parks for most of its life... then its a great choice. (No offence to the Stance life, we need 86's in that scene to )

Rather invest in decent 17'inch or even 18'inch wheels and tyres. (My opinion)

+1

I've got 19'' wheels on my Z4 and I hate them.
Going to get a set of A-Line 18" soon.
I'd go 17" on the Z4 if I could, but they don't clear the brakes.

For my 86, I've got 2 sets of A-Line 17" x 7.5 wheels, and I love them.
Tyres are cheap too - 225/45R17 is common, competitive, and relatively cheap.
I can get a set of 17" Bridgestone RE002s for about R5k, whereas a set of the 19" equivalent for the Z4, Bridgestone RE050 is about R15k.

Take a look at the A-Line catalogue (on A-line site and Errols Tyres)
Their wheels are cheap but very good.
You don't need to mortgage your house to get lekker wheels.

I've got two sets of A-Lines which I alternate between road and track.
Both are 17 x 7.5 ET35, but their style (GTR-something) isn't made anymore.
Each have been on-and-off the car about 50 times, and they're still 100%.
The day that someone beats me on track, I'll start thinking about other wheels. LOL !!

A-Line have got good looking wheels.
Don't know your taste is, but this 63 yr old wrinkly likes their "Racer" wheel. Just sayin'

http://www.errolstyres.co.za/wheel/a...cer-gmmf/10110
PCD 5x100 and ET35(approx) is what works.

18" x 8.5J with 235/40R18 Michelins going onto the Z4 today

Hateful 19" wheels and RF tyres going into the garbage bin...
