Out of curiosity, while you had it all apart did you see anyway to upgrade or make the boomerangs brighter than they currently are?

I am not brave enough to do the modifications you did and I like how they look OEM anyway but I would like to make the boomerangs brighter.

I'm only just now learning about this stuff. But the boomerang

probably has a resistor in-line somewhere. You could maybe find it, remove it, determine it's ohm resistance and reinstall one of slightly less ohms. Maybe? More power to the boomerang would shine it brighter but probably burn it out quicker too.

Anybody got any info/knowledge on whether or not that would work?

Did you use the clamps after removing from oven, or did you reassemble, put clamps on then bake it with the clamps on it.

lightly put the clear on the back. put in oven bake. use clamps when out of the oven let cool put screws back in then you can even bake a little longer if you want
