Just heard about a horror story of a red one involved in a 3 car pile up near William Nicol - front and back apparently... If you're reading this - we feel your pain...

Seems like Orange isn't popular? |

It appears everyone has gone for the colours that the original FT-86 concepts were painted and not the wild orange as featured in the TV advert and launch pics.

The fact that there is a high spec that has not been sold probably proves your theory.
I must be honest, I've seen 2 orange ones on the road and the colour doesn't really do it for me. It's not as bright as it looks in all the pics.

Yep, the ST is a very different orange though. The 86 is almost closer to copper but either way, it's not for me.
I'm glad I got the colour I wanted but crazy as it may sound, here is the list in order of preference that I've given the dealer: White Red Orange Silver Walking I'm not sure what I was thinking placing orange 3rd on my list.

High or std?
I gave 3 options because I didn't want to wait, so whichever of those became available I would have taken. 3 Months is quite a wait but then the numbers are limited so I guess there is not much else you could do. I like the other colours but I've promised myself I would never buy another dark coloured car.

Maybe everyone was scared of getting that actual car from the advert... These cars feel a bit soft and polystyrene wall was mean! Wonder how many takes (and walls) were required...

Nah, no cars were hurt in the making of the ad. I know the people who made it.
