I drink a lot of Stone Pale Ale, Stone Go-to-IPA. They're from California in a drought right now so I feel bad for drinking up all their water. Sure is tasty though. Favorite beer of theirs is Stone Ruination:

Are ya thirsty Angus? Hahaha

Used to drink Schlafly APA but had a 6 pack over the weekend and it had like clumpy yeast in it or something, but I drank it anyway (cause it was tasty beer) but the next day gut was telling me that was a bad decision. So inspect your beers and use discernment!

If I'm going to drink Stone, it'll likely be Ruination, but Stone overall is pretty bleh to me.

There are lots of good choices now. Just depends on what you like.. and what you like right now you won't like in 6 months, with the exception of a few good standbys... I drink Yuengling a lot, not because it's in any way special, but it's just accessible, fresh being brewed here, and cheap as hell on tap due to it being brewed here and it's a decent lager.

My favorite breweries (in that I like the most varieties of their stuff) currently are probably Founders, Bells, Dark Horse, ********3 Floyd's********** and Cigar City.

Love 3 Floyd's. Too bad I have to drive 900 miles at least to get any.

Why would you drink beer for best alcohol content to price ratio? lol

Anyways I'm not that big of a beer fan but I am kind of fond of Anchor Steam. Blue Moon is a good cheapie, I like the lighter beers more as a "refreshing" drink (bitter flavor kind of overwhelms the senses and doesn't have that effect imo). As for IPAs, some of my friends like Racer 5 but I think it's nasty, just about anything else is better IMO.

Anchor Steam is a very drinkable beer. I drink it with lunch out west, it's like water

Not a fan of Wheat beers for the most part, summer shandy is an exception though. Orange shandy is not.

Racer 5 is just a mediocre IPA. Drinkable, but nothing special.

Hahaha, like water. I like it because it's got a rich barley taste to it (I like that in whiskey too).

Generally I don't like fruit in beer but there was this blueberry Sam Adams that tasted decent so I recall.

The problem I have with racer 5 is the medicinal taste, it's the opposite of drinkable for me. Something generic like Lagunitas is kind of boring but there's nothing wrong with it.

Anyone ever had hoptimum? Its better than dogfish head to me (yes i've had 90 and 120 min. very close but not as good). It only comes around once a year. Had it for the first time this year, and i was supremely impressed. Very hoppy flavor, citrus, strong alcohol taste but smooth, and will have you feeling generous after just one. I can't wait for April to roll around next year to get some more. Perfect IPA in my opinion.

That's a good one. I prefer 90min, hopslam, and pliny the elder (haven't had younger yet, just got to Cali recently) to it though. I think fresh hopslam might still be my favorite IPA.

My educated guess is that I've had 200+ different beers (I stopped keeping track at around 120, which was about 3.5 years ago). In college I frequented a bar with a giant rotating tap list, a $3 pint night on Mondays, and a system of tracking all the different beers you had there. If you got up to 200 you could have a plate on the wall with your name and a random quote of your choice on it. Unfortunately(or fortunately for my wallet) I graduated and moved for my job, so I didn't get the plate. No joke, there were guys with 10 plates on the wall there. Insane. As for beer, I love just about all of it except for sours, lambics, and barleywines. Having just recently moved to California I'm getting to experience a ton of local breweries that I never saw on the East Coast. Currently sipping on 21st Amendment's Fireside Chat (tasty winter seasonal), and some Pliny.

Sweetwater 420 stays in our fridge constantly, but my wife and i love trying new beers. I have several favorites, but Rogue Dead Guy Ale is the first that comes to mind. Innis & Gunn makes a great string of Scottish beers, my wife's favorite is Kona Brewing's Pipeline Porter, which is brewed with Kona coffee.

I could go on for days...

Constant go-to in the fridge:

But a shout-out to a (for me) local gem:
