Nice boxer rumble sound but I'm sure the blue Camaro in your garage sounds better.

Could you take a photo of the camera as installed on your car? Did the installer make their own hole with a drill or is there a provision for it on the trunk?

I installed the head unit and camera myself. I'm not a fan of drilling as well, so I just used 3M double-sided tape and sticked the camera onto the trunk-release switch. The switch still works, to open the trunk I just have to press on the camera itself, or the sides of the camera with 2 fingers. Check out the video I posted of me driving away, if you pause it you can see where I have the camera mounted. I'll take a photo tomorrow if you want.

So how did you get the video cable to the camera/head unit? Arent you worried that the camera will detach overtime by wear/tear or some bored bystander?

Could you also take a photo of your Pioneer while displaying the video feed from the rear camera?

My apologies on the myriad requests but after being spoiled with the 2014 Forester's reverse camera I'd love to be able to do the same with my BRZ and other cars if possible.

It won't. I have the camera mounted the same way in my daily-driver Land Cruiser.

If you want peace of mind, by all means go ahead and drill holes in your brand new car

how many inches is your gap from the ground to the lowest point of the bumper and from the top of the tire to the wheel arch w/ the 2" drop?

It's just sandwiched between the trunk and the trunk handle.

So you created a wedge between the insulation/rubber seal and snaked the cable through?
