BC BR Extreme Low Coilovers install pics

I installed my BC coilovers today and during the process took quite a few pics of the install. its was pretty straight forward and quite easy due to it being a brand new vehicle so all the nuts/bolts broke free fairly easily! hope you enjoy!
the day I got them. I couldn't tell at first but notice how the box has 10/10 ext, that means they are extreme lows.(I almost though they were reg BRs and almost got )

first impression of the packaging wasn't that great

started with the front. this is the main setup w/ the wheel removed. the brake line and abs wires are bolted/mounted to the OEM strut.

this is the OEM struts and end links compared to the BCs

Be sure to mount the camber plates properly or you wont be able to adjust camber properly

the BCs have mounting locations just like the OEM assembly

the rears were a little more difficult but not bad. you have to remove the lining from in the trunk in order to gain access to the upper strut bolts. From underneath I had to remove the endlink bolts, strut bolt, and the bolt that connects the LCA to the hub. after that it was smooth sailing!
pic of the OEM assembly w/ wheel removed

and w/ trunk lining removed

comparing the OEM rear strut assembly to the BC

and the Finished result. this is out of the box no height adjustment. w/ stock wheels and tires I'm very pleased!

Thinking about this set up too! If this is with no height adjustments can you still raise it? How is the ride now compared to stock?

if you want somethings a bit higher "out of the box", but could actually go as lower if not lower. Opt for the normal Bc racing coilovers

I still have room to go lower and could raise it back to stock height im sure! as far as ride quality, I will let you know for sure when the springs settle and suspension breaks in. as of right now with the 10k springs its a little stiff but I need to adjust dampening a bit and see

Ok, I'm wondering how this works.. I have just a 20mm drop and I've already ruined one catback. When you go this low do you just plan to write off exhaust systems and other undercarriage bits?

Which catback did you ruin? I have the N1 exhaust, and the pipe sits pretty low, it will probably scrape when I drop. It's kind of a problem haha. Maybe aftermarket hangers will raise it? not sure..

I had a system from Accelerated Performance. The lowest point was a flange. It caught on a bridge expansion joint and bent both flanges back; at the narrowest point too.

Driving in OH you might!lol (I'm from Cleveland so I know how the roads are) but really you just need to be prepared that you night damage stuff underneath. Down hear the roads are pretty flat and it doesn't snow so they don't have plows and salt to destroy the roads. As of right now I'm on stock exhaust w/ track pipe and have no issues but I will look into it when I go the exhaust route!

I drive my car lower than yours around Cleveland everyday you'll be fine. Unless you're completely oblivious to what's up ahead.
