ball joint leak

2013 frs 125k.
1 in lowered on coils
some negative camber from camber bolts.

The boot is ripped and leaking grease on one side. But no play in the ball joint yet.
Do i have to replace the whole control arm? Does anyone sell just the ball joint?

I only see complete arms with the ball joint for sale on rockauto, but honestly that's what you want anyway. Have you ever replaced a ball joint? It can be a real pain in the ass, and the tool to do it is at least $150 for a half-ass decent one that won't tear out the threads immediately.

While you're at it, you might go for aftermarket arms that are adjustable, depending on your build goals.

I believe Subaru discontinued the ball joint as a part number a while ago. They only sell the whole control arm now.

i've done one accord before. The plan was to just beat it with hammer. I didn't have plans to upgrade the controls arms, not trying to have crazy cambers, i like the handling with stock arms.

Rockauto has them for $136. OEM replacements. No fancy adjustable parts.

125k if it needs a balljoint, it needs caster and camber bushings as well.

Do the whole arm, in and out in 20 minutes
