- I strongly dislike steepish hill starts.

I also dislike steep hill starts. On a hill this car does not grab in 1st gear like my old car did. However, it is a million times better than my Saturn Ion Redline. Even on a flat surface I could not feel the friction point on that car. I stalled her so many times it's not funny.
