Had this kit for almost 3 years. Trust me when I say go to the Toyota dealership and get a tube of toyota gasket sealer. Use it on the plugs on the sides of the sandwich plates and between the sandwich plate and the black drain cup thing. It will save u headaches later on. The plugs failed on me 3 times with plummers tape. The gasket sealer has been spot free fr over 2 years! Kit makes a huge difference under race conditions.

Oh I'm not planning to spend 2k on just wheels.. I was talking about wheels plus tires and install.. After looking around for the past month and a half or so, I'm leaning toward raijins in gunmetal

Oh that's a bit more reasonable haha. Those will look nice too I dunnow if you've checked out Costco, but they installed my tires on the new wheels for the cost of the tire purchase. I think it was around $700 total for the Michelin Pilot A/S 3s, install, and membership signup. Saved enough on the install alone to warrant the membership.

That sounds legit.. Was it a non member special? Cuz I'm already a Costco member

There was a big sale in Michelin tires at Costco recently.

was it difficult to replace the fender insert where you put the 86 emblem? I am debating doing a carbon fiber insert but I'm not sure the degree of difficulty to change it out

Looks good but if the airbag deploys that emblem will go through your forehead...and could come out the back of your head. Just a fair warning.

Can't agree enough. I find those mods, or people who remove their steering wheel for a replacement w/o an airbag, as candidates for the Darwin awards.
