Agreed.. Kinda like a Jeremy Clarkson's laptime(but for weights) board but inverted. And you MUST provide a shot of the car and the reading on the scales.

I think some nice losses could be had with aftermarket front lower control arms too.

Have you weighed the front control arms? There isn't much to lose there and some of the options weigh more.

Mine was 1198, with a quarter tank.

Interior strip, no oem seats, Bride drivers, Wilwoods, track pipe, 205/40/17 semis on volk se37ks and I was down to 1105kg with fuel light on. I'd added a trd brace set and whiteline sway, which added a little weight. Still had another 20 easy kgs to get (battery and crash beams)

Mines the GTS @ 1275kg.. GT Spec is 1257kg for the non-Australians here.
GT Spec is povo spec without the frills
GTS Spec is similar to the JDM version of the 86.

Car was weighed with the below mods(in signature) with the WedsSports/PS3's on. And as stated 5/8th tank of fuel.

Front control arm difference would be around 1.5-2.0kg saving per arm. Every little bit helps when your staying N/A anyway.

@diss7, 1105kg that's pretty impressive. Aftermarket BBK usually always lighter than stock brakes though and a good weight saving. I'd like to do that but can't justify it atm while the car is still N/A, brakes are still fine(for me at any rate)

Most semi-truck stops on interstate roads have scales. Check google maps.

It will set you back a couple bucks though, not too bad...

or go to an alignment shop that does corner balancing.

I pulled my headrests. BAM, improved headroom and center of gravity.

You wouldn't believe how heavy those things are.

That's a bad idea as your head will become a Pez dispenser in a rear end collision.
