How do you store your tablet?

For those who chose not to go the hard install route...how have you stored your tablet when parked? I've got the Exogear mount and I quite like it (works well for nexus 7, note 2,) but I'm worried about ever leaving it in the car while parked.

Anyone figure out a clever way to 'hide' it without being too cumbersome?

Thanks!

Getting stolen is one thing, just try to keep in mind heat and direct sunlight will make a mess of the battery and other components. Maybe slip it in the back pocket on the back of the passenger seat.
