Resistance- Because if we fight we might lose, but if we don't fight we've already lost.

Nice! How many PSI did you have to run to reach 323hp?

The EFRs are great turbos and the kit is well priced for what you get in it considering the EFR6258/6758 turbos are like $1600 by themselves. They just have no presence on the forums anymore which is probably why you don't hear much. The 6758 is pretty much equivalent to a GTX2867R. Has just about the same spool but the throttle response is better due to the much lighter wheels on the EFR.

Long-Term Update!

Ok, I've had the kit running on my car for over 2 years and 25K miles. Here are some impressions:

- Car still runs great, no issues at all
- No mechanical issues, parts are still in great condition
- Fun to drive! I still get a smile on my face every time I go WOT
- Car pulls well, even when not in full boost
- I'm running Treadstone's 3" TBE single-exit exhaust (a little loud, but straight and light-not mass produced)

Overall I'm very satisfied with this kit. Full disclaimer: my car was used for R&D of the kit, so I didn't pay much for it. However, if I was in the market for a turbo kit this one would definitely be at the top of my list! The fact it's modular, so you can swap out the BW turbos is appealing to me, as I may bump up a size in a year. The 6258 is great for daily driving. I'm around 300whp/250wtq, and the reliability and OEM feel to the kit is really great as well!

Highly recommend!

Quick update:

I've hit 50K miles on the kit, still no problems. I upgraded the stock clutch in April to the Stage 3 Comp Clutch kit. Now time to upgrade for flex fuel!

Could you give another update?

Also, did you upgrade the clutch out of preference or was it needed due to the turbo?

I'm starting to look into going FI and this kit was recommended to me by a local tuner.

Not necessarily

For small engines (4 banger in this case) it is of course better to use a single turbo, because it produces sufficient exhaust gas just that one turbo efficiently. For larger engines, it is usually smarter to use a pair of small turbochargers instead of a big one, because small turbines result in less turbo lag. But they are able to produce enough exhaust gas to power both turbos.
Look into the Chrysler ppg m4s. 2.2 litre 4 banger twin turbo made 475hp...

Spool with two smaller turbo is always quicker

Just found out today that Treadstone is out of stock on the manifold and it will take a month to get this kit.

Very annoying news, specially when they decide to tell us a week after taking payment.

That sucks.

I emailed them about their kit 3 days ago and haven't heard a response back yet.

I'm not going to hold that against them but it seems terrible communication is a common occurrence with these companies making turbo kits.

How have you been contacting them? I'm thinking about calling them because I want to order the kit without the ecutek stuff since I already have it.

Also is the manifold manufactured by them?

Off topic rant, JDL for instance is laughable, I live 30 minutes away from them and can't even get them to respond to a phone, email, PM you name it.

I had the same issue with email. They have bad communication. I ended up calling them and it took a few tries to get a hold of someone.

I am not sure who manufactures the manifold, but they have not noted any other brand so I am assuming they manufacture in-house.

FYI, they are increasing the price of the turbo kit soon so get your order in ASAP. Unless you don't want to wait a month for the manifold, then go with another brand of turbo.
