What is the hottest oil temperature you guys have seen with this dual cooler? A buddy recorded a sustained 257* F with it yesterday.

Last I checked, I was reaching a plateau just above 230F, based on logs from an AIM SOLO2 DL. Mobil1 0W20. Approx 70F day.

Mods? Temps? What oil? All these play a factor. My old track day with my setup in my sig and about 75-80f ambient temperature I saw 235F as a max

Stock drivetrain. 100*F ambient. Probably 5W-30 oil.

Bit high but nothing to be affraid. Just imagine what temps would be without it. No way you have made it through the session. The ambient temps make a big difference in affecting temps. Track temps were at least 15-20f more I bet.

Yeah, I heard someone saying 135*F +.
I think saying, "No way you have made it through the session" is a bit much. I ran 285 without issues. Other people here have seen 300. The Mobil 1 engineers say it's not an issue. But that's a discussion for other thread, I guess.
I'm going to send my 0-20 in for analysis after 8 track days and some high temps. Blackstone is still the one to go to for that, right?

Yup. That's way to high for my tastes.. but it's your car and for sure not on 0W-20... I be interested to see what blackstone says.

I’ve ran two track days with this installed now and my oil hasn’t gone above 220F. Yesterday was a hot one, it was 33c ambient temps.

Last year I pulled off track after about 6-7 laps and was always excelling 250F.

Currently Using Mobil 1 0W-40

It’s such a pleasure not to have to worry about oil temps.

I've only seen my oil up to 235 F at track days with 20 minute sessions, usually it's stable around 225-230 F. It looks like it's going to be 105 F on Saturday at Thunderhill, so we'll see how it holds up with high ambient temperature. That's going to be brutal...

Highest i saw with the cooler on track with forced induction after a 20min session is 250F, running 5-40 oil or 15-40 and it went back down to 212F within about 3 minutes after session was over. Worked very well.

225-230f with 10w40 Redline when pushed on the street. No track days.
I still have the under panel installed as well.
All exhaust in engine bay is wrapped.
Spal fans wired so both fans come on vs just one when coolant temps rise.

Seeing sustained 240-250F after 5 min on track (5w30 and 20C ambient). Water temp seems to stay ~ 30F lower than oil, so I'm typically 215F. I'd like to have lower coolant temps, but I'm thinking that is the trade off with this style of cooling.

What is everyone else seeing for coolant temps on track?

Supercharger, built motor, oil cooler behind intercooler, hood vents, 262 f after several hot laps before I backed off, not an excessively hot day.
Time to move the oil cooler rad.

Or, outta daa box thinking - add a Jackson rad oil cooler as well ? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ------
