Scion Service Boost

I know many people on here are moving towards the BRZ, but has anyone who didn't want all the bells and whistles move towards the FR-S due to the free service for the first two years or 25,000 miles?

With 7.5k OCI that's what - 4 filters and 20 gallons of oil? And 2 tire rotations. Is it really worth it?

For me, this is not a factor whatsoever.

It's also roadside assistance I believe, which is useful if your insurance doesn't cover that.

I might end up switching to the FRS if the last dealership within 200 miles of me decides to screw me over and tack up a charge above MSRP after promising he wouldn't (and calling back to renege 10 minutes later after running my CC for a thousand bucks)

I'll find out more about what he plans to do tomorrow and whether a scion is in my future.

As towards the oil change stuff? I've always done that myself, I see no appeal in getting it done for free, I'd rather know I'm doing it properly than waste 3 hours sitting around at the dealership waiting for them to do it and hope they haven't put the wrong oil filter on or something.

Can't get it serviced there anyway since the nearest dealership is a couple hours away. I'd rather they gave me some cash back. :P

Subaru Roadside Assistance is free and standard on every Subaru from model year 2000 forward. Coverage is automatic; there are no forms to complete. Subaru Roadside Assistance is available anytime during the 3-year/36,000-mile Subaru Limited Warranty, whichever comes first.**
