I've read in articles that the cruise control cannot be engaged above 90 mph, but I haven't checked.

The highest I've set my cruise control is 83 mph.

That sounds believable to me - my 2007 Outback has that limitation.

Gosh, what braggadocios speeders we have on this thread.
I often set mine at 25mph since I must go thru several school zones depending upon which direction I take to get out of the neighborhood and I KNOW the area is being monitored at the beginning of school year.

I bet no one can get lower than that!

Cruise control limbo, anyone?

I can set mine above 69 mph without issues.

I've been able to set mine to 93 if I remember correctly. It could have been 90. I was just playing around with it and just curious. I could hold the toggle up and the car would accellerate past 93 but once I let go of the toggle it would settle right back down to 93.

^The above poster is correct. I believe the number is 90 or 91 mph.

Actually you can get it down to 23 in my experience but it doesn't like to engage below 25 unless conditions are just right in my experience.

6th gear at 35 mph is my favorite, thing shows ~50 mpg on the instant gauge although it sounds like a diesel truck.

Well, I think we're all in agreement? The counting shall be 93. No more, no less. 95 is right out!

I think it's funny that our cars won't allow cruise to be set past 90 MPH whereas the Chrysler 300C SRT-8's computers will allow you to set cruise at 170. A couple of their engineers took one out on the Autobahn and realized you couldn't, so they conjured up a voluntary recall that involved "transmission recalibration" just so the owners could set cruise to 170 if need be.

That's what I hear anyway.

Insane.

On my Outback, I discovered the 90mph limitation on I-15 in Utah, which has an 80mph limit. 90 really isn't outrageous there. Even here in CO, interstates run at 80 or more frequently, with a 75mph limit.

I usually set mine at 75-80 when on the highway.
