2017 86 TRD Lowering Springs

I know the TRD lowering springs have been covered extensively in this forum but I haven't found too much input on the 17's. Anyone with TRD Lowering Springs on the 17's have any feedback?

I DD the car in Michigan where the roads are pretty crappy. I know they modified the 17 to have better ride quality and I definitely appreciate that while DD'ing on the crappy roads and I don't want to lose that too much. I heard the TRD lowering springs actually made the ride quality better for the 13-16's but how about for the stock 17 with its modifications from the 13-16's?

I've also seen mixed responses from the effect these springs will have on the life of the shocks/struts. I know they were designed for the shocks/struts but does anyone have premature wear/failure of shocks/struts after driving with the TRD springs?

Thanks!

I have the TRD springs and TRD sway bars on my 860.
Compared to my '16, the car does feel more planted and makes better use of the available grip. I can't rip over railway crossings like I could in my stock '16, but I expected that.
On smooth fast surfaces the car feels great, but hitting a bump in a fast corner tends to unsettle the rear a little, as if it's now underdamped.
I ordered the car with the TRD parts, so I never drove the '17 on stock parts for comparison, and I haven't gotten any definitive track times to compare with yet.
