I don't understand why people think Scion has a higher spec model up their sleeve... what was shown in L.A. and Detroit what the FR-S is going to be when released; nothing more, nothing less. No LED DRL, no HIDs, no push button start, no dual-zone HVAC, no factory FI.

For what it's worth, one of the pictures note the FR-S used for shooting is equipped with prototype TRD lowering springs.

I feel more than 70% percent sure we will get DRL's stateside via Scion. Tho as an option, maybe not now, but future for sure. Why do I say this? Go to the Scion website, click the wallpapers, scroll down, and you will see one shown with DRL's, blacked out too. Maybe we get them blacked out, maybe not. But they seem to be a future option for sure.

oh and yea i completely i agree with this statement. im more like 90 percent sure they'll be an option from the get go. why would scion lose money by not offering these since they know that people who really want them will get them imported or some third party might make a replica here in the u.s.? might as well just offer them and charge people retail. and even in the even that a third party makes a replica here WHILE scion is selling an oem product, i feel most of us would opt for the oem part and pay the higher premium.

Has anyone had a chance to find out if the Ultramarine is metallic, pearl, or just gloss?

Edit: Talked to a sales rep that seemed to be well informed (also claimed to be one of the first 86 winners but turned it down because they changed something on it he liked.. grain of salt) and he said the blue is going to have a slight pearl flake in it, will be a deep sea blue and that it is a new color that they are offering meaning no early glimpse of it on another car until they get the actual FRS.

Sales rep is from Round Rock Toyota Scion. He wasn't sure of pricing but said he should know soon. Pretty much the same thing all the informed reps have been saying from members here.

I am definitely leaning toward the dark gray. It's got a real sleek look. I currently am driving a pearl gray Avalon.

Can anybody chop an orange FR-S, with black Kosei K4R rims and blacked out or dark tinted head/tail lights? A very slight drop, not slammed. Understated black lip spoiler, and the high spoiler that's been shown? If possible, with the actual wing portion of the spoiler the same color as the lip spoiler? OH! And baby blue brake calipers.

Just trying to get a handle on which look I want for the car....

If this is the wrong thread for requests, sorry. I's lazy.

*edit* Shit, I just realized I made this post in the MEGA GALLERY thread, instead of the photoshop sticky....can a mod move it? I meant to be in the photoshop thread....just don't know if anybody is really taking requests anymore.
