BRZ aerial connector

Need a little help please. I've got a 2015 BRZ and I've just fitted an aftermarket radio. I can't source an aerial adapter. The BRZ has a strange square connector and the Sony unit the usual DIN thingy.

Anyone know what I should be asking for?

You need this:

https://www.crutchfield.com/S-LAUHnH...a-Adapter.html

Splice the blue wire of the adapter into the blue "remote" wire of the aftermarket wire harness.

Cheers. I've got one of those but where does the white plug plug into?

Dig around the dash a little bit, you should definitely have the mating plug for the white part of that adaptor.

Sony XAV-AX100?

No. It's much smaller. I'll try and dig out a photo.

There is a similar but smaller connector that I believe is for reverse camera hookup.

Yes I've just twigged and found the correct connector. What is the blue wire for? Is the aerial powered?

Another light bulb moment. Connected the blue to the switched live and bingo. Radio stations.
