Can I ask a, perhaps, dumb question? How come the swap to a Z33 Transmission? Is it because the factory trans is made of glass? Or because custom gear sets aren't readily available? Or is it some other reason?
Beauty overall package btw! |

Well our first pick was going to be a Holinger but it couldn't be done in time and for the power it wasn't going to hold. But yes you're correct about the factroy trans isn't the best trans. So we went with a z33 because cost wise and how easy it is to find them. You can even get them from factory brand new for really cheap. Also we knew that OS giken made gear sets for the car which made us go with the idea. With only 2 month to get the car ready we didn't have much of a choice.

Was a t56 not an option?
What are the OSG ratios? I know Brian installed them for you. Quote:
