No one digs the blue one? How about that yellow BMW in the background?

Anyway, I have owned/driven white and black cars. Both are hard to maintain the clean look. My next color in line would be blue or grey, but never like the grey color so blue it is.

good lawd i'm just shocked at how good looking this car is. none of the photoshopping, decamo-ing, leaked pics, nothing did this car justice. it looks absolutely stunning in practically any color. i'm sure it's even better in person.

Honestly sometimes the blue looks awesome, sometimes bleh.. depending on lighting. It's a color I'll really need to see in person first I think (on the 86).

Agree! With dark lighting condition (night) the blue car looks like a black one. The blue shown in the picture seems to be darker than the World Rally Blue from Subaru so I will see how it turns out. Otherwise, the silver one seems ok and low profile (how many silver cars you see in any parking lot?).

Personaly I love the looks of a blacked out car, but I would never own one. I live of a dirt road and no matter how slow you go on it there is always dust in the summer. White is the easiest to keep looking clean, but man I love the look of that dark grey and if they make the subaru blue then it will be a very hard decision for me. The crazy part is my wife is loving the orange color which is not like her at all. We always tend to own white or silver cars. Either way the lines on this car are better then I could have expected and as long as it stays under 27-28k for a fully loaded car I will be first in my area to own one.

Anyone else think that by "handmade" they may have meant the ones here on the track that day, and not necessarily the specific cars going on sale for mass production?

Obviously these in the pictures we have seen, aren't built by the robots, and were probably hand made.

Just a thought.

That blue sort of looks like indiglo ink blue. It's an ok color but I like the blue to be more lighter like the KC Royals blue, Yamaha's deep purple blue metallic or the IS-F blue.

Right!! It looks very good with a lot of quality and tons of details. We just need to find out the price.

In the press briefing they say it's an IS-F auto transmission. It seems like most of the press briefing is directly from the training manual.

Now if they can clear up the low production numbers, and hand-built part. (My money's on still having post-disaster production issues.)

But wasn't the IS-F an 8 speed?

In leekys first post on this thread he said it was based on the LF-A gearbox, not the IS-F.

Anywho...

I don't really have any interest for automatics, BUT I am kind of curious to find a video of the GT86 with this fancy new automatic to see what all the hype is about. Could it really be a super quick shifting automatic that may be a manual killer? Maybe even a auto vs manual 0-60 or 1/4 mile run to show just how great it may be
