Valenti Tail Lights - Running Lights not working at all

Hello,

I just installed my Valenti Smoked Tail Lights and went to test them and everything worked great EXCEPT the LED tube which is supposed to be a running light.
I searched a bit and found it may just be wired for JDM instead of USDM but can't find a DIY on how to rewire it for USDM.
(Plus it says US on the wiring clip so I'm not sure that's the issue.)
I will be contacting the seller on Monday since they are closed over the weekend but wanted to see if anyone else has had similar issues?

Also, I want to follow up with do the OEM tail lights have a running light as well?
I've had numerous people tell me my tail lights are out and when checking with them on, they don't light unless the brake is pressed.
I really hope it's not a bigger issue...

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!

like not running at all? or running when you brake?
if it turns on while signaling, then its wired for jdm specs.
from car harness the
red should go to blue valenti
green should go to red valenti
yellow to yellow valenti
and black is to black

look at the harness for valenti and you need a pick and you just unhook and it should come right off

Sorry didn't realize I didn't specify; it's not running at all.
Turn signals/brakes are working just fine and appropriately.

Thanks for the info, I'll go double check the wiring now.

But I'm starting to suspect it's just a bad set since they don't light with the turn signals either

OK, stupid question I know, but are your headlights on when you look? Just don't want to be chasing my tail here (pardon the pun).

If they are on, and the OEM lights don't light up either, then you more than likely have a blown fuse. The issue is, why did the fuse blow?

Yup, headlights are on.

I do have an intermittent issue with my dome light staying on so I just keep it in the off position a majority of the time but just checked and it's working as expected as well.
(Not sure if this could possibly be another side effect so I'm mentioning it as well.)

Are you saying the OEM tails have a running light?
I can't remember ever seeing them on when I had them in; only when I pressed the brakes did they light.

Hmm suspect for sure...
Thanks for the input!

Just installed the valenti tail lights AND third brake light. All installed perfect however the brake and 3 red flash is kind of annoying but it is what it is. Not wasting my time resodering the inside of the third brake light to remove the 3 flash. Looked up and seems to be legal anyway since Mercades have it as OEM.

Check the fuses under the steering wheel. That was what caused my Valentis to stop working.
