One of our own at Daytona/Rolex

Thanks to a fellow club member. It appears that we have a car in the Continental Challenge. Trying to get particulars. All I have is a Pic for now

I love watching the Continental Tire Series with those crazy 70 vehicles on one track at the same time. I haven't heard anything about the series' future in regards to the recent merger between Grand Am and ALMS. The twins should be very competitive in ST vs all those FWD cars.

I had a blast at the 50th running last year with my brother... maybe go back one of these years.

They debuted at the 50th running last year and finished 21st out of 84 running a 997 chassis porsche 911.

I was hoping we were going to see a bunch of these in ST. Mazda is not going to run the Miata any more so we need a couple good RWD cars to mix it up with all the FWD. Looks like the FR-S and the BMW 1 series are it. I know one team is planning on running a TRD supercharged version in Pirelli Challenge GTS class.

It is nice to have Toyota back in American road racing.

It is definitely a dream of mine to one day campaign a car in the Continental Tire series. I look forward to rooting on the twins.
