If it ever happens with the clutch pedal depressed, I will buck the trend and say not TOB.

But ONLY if then. Otherwise, makes sense. Won't be a hammering sound, more like a little metallic rub or screech.

Nah. I don't buy the whole "Manual is written by lawyers" thing. They have input sure but the material is provided by the engineers. So many people just think they know more than the people that built the car and don't believe that the manual is actually meant to keep you and the car safe.

"Break in period? Ahhhh screw it I read on the internet that..."
"Don't use chains? I have used chains on all my Jeeps with no issues. Damn lawyers can't tell me what to do"
"Look before backing? Who the hell are they to tell me what to do in my car."

@FX86 , assuming you are not still trolling ....... if you ever wish to talk to someone about your "drinking regime" .. shoot me a PM.

Oh what the fuck

I recall you liked your job too. Well, RT will welcome you back with open arms. Hope another job lands in your lap, sooner than later.

@ichitaka05 stickers arrived today
Sorry for putting them on my tower instead of the car....I have a rule of only 1 sticker on the car and the sticker with the silhouette easily won that contest. I'll get a picture up once that one is on the car, gotta figure out where I want to put it first.

@Tcoat

Even with a pint of beer down (which usually gets the job started), best color still doesn't make the new cars look good.

Idk, maybe a few more pints would do the trick.

You're right, even the real best color + photo editing can't save it
To be fair it is a lot cleaner than I will ever keep my car.....

buahahah same here. After I crushed my first cone at autox, I thought "fuck this, too much work to keep this car shiny and new looking."

Wash intervals went from 2 weeks, to 1 month, to 2 months, eventually hit every season change.

Though it does look good after a good wash and wax

Eh I cause I had it on the clipboard and we were on the topic.

It took me a long time to choose but I went with the smiley one and glad I did still like the one that frowns, just not as much

Also since I know for a fact Toyota watches the forums maybe they'll do something like Mazda.

Maybe @Tcoat will get something! Cheers!
