Try toyota dealerships. Get estimates on car from multiple used car managers and body shops too.

You pay your insurance to help you. Also read through this.
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2496646

Because of your accident, I recommended a Toyota dealership as most used car managers can price your vehicle with damages after repairs. Be honest with them, tell them why you need an appraisal. And don't forget to stay connected with your insurance company.

Hope I helped. If you have any more questions always ask. If I can not help then someone else will. Best of luck.

Just a question, why do people hire dv appraiser for like $300?
I did not go through my insurance as the accident was not my fault. I , myself, chased after their insurance. They are in the process of fixing my vehicle. You can check out the damages to my car under the FRS section.
Also, because I'm not at fault, am I 100% entitled to diminished value in Virginia?

Last time I was in a car wreck, I let my insurance and my agent know even though the other driver was at fault and admitted it. It is always to have a professional on your side. I never heard of people hiring a DV appraiser before, sounds like something someone did to cash some money in his pocket the easy way. Go meet your agent tomorrow, talk to him and ask him about your vehicles diminished value. Its also would be better if you can arrange a sit down meeting that one over the phone.
