Do you have install finished.

I helped out a mate install the exact same kit on his manual transmission Toyota FJ.

We ran into one problem, the control unit was cranking for to long and I'm unaware how to adjust that.

Must say for anyone considering this should send OP some beer monies because his hard work is going to save you a sh*tload of time. Plus you should really really want to do this otherwise don't bother!

Cheers,

Sam

I have finished the install, and I have not noticed any problems. Overall I am quite happy with it.

Probably not, I don't really have the time right now. Perhaps someone else who is doing the install can do a video review as they go along.

If you don't mind me asking. Where did you put the mini piezo alarm?

I just ordered the kit from amazon. Hope it results in success

I actually wasn't sure where to put it. I ended up putting under the drivers side dash, but it is a little hard to hear from the outside. The best solution would probably be to put it in the engine bay and run a wire through the firewall to the drivers side.

Almost finished with this beast of a project. I got the the push button start working so that's good.

A questions tho:
On the 16pin harness. Pin 2 which is another brown wire with a fuse just like pin 1. Where does that go? Together with wire 1? They both say parking lamps +.

You weren't kidding when you said the door handle wires were the trickiest part. They took me a few hours to get through that stupid rubber grommet.

Just waiting for the polarity inverter to get here so I can finish wiring everything.

Thanks for the DIY. Hopefully everything works fine when finished.

I didn't use the second brown wire at all, all that seemed to be necessary was 1 parking lamp positive and the parking lamp negative. I'm not sure of the purpose of having two parking + wires.

Since doing it, I'm wondering if there is a better way to do that, like maybe the grommet itself can be pulled out from each side or something. I'm sure others on these forums with more experience might have some other ideas.

So I got the door handle and the remote lock/unlock to work fine. But now my remote start is causing problems. It starts the car but then shuts down like 3 seconds later and tries to restart again 2 more times but doesn't start.

Also, as much as i've tried, the parking lights and trunk doesn't work

Hopefully the guys at easy go reply to me soon. My car is still in pieces lol

Is your car a M\T? If so it won't remote start unless you do something with the clutch. I don't use the remote start so I never figured out what to do with that. Other people have posted elsewhere (i think in the original easygo thread) that his is an easy fix though.
