Nissan Gripz Concept

[ame]http://youtu.be/Kq6jyuuDZR0[/ame]

This car is previewing the Nissan 370Z, it will be a 2 door crossover coupe. I expect it to be a huge flop, just as the Honda CR-Z.

The problem with the CR-Z isn't the form factor.

1. Who is is in their focus groups lately??

2. How are you unable to build a business case for the s16 Silvia, but abortions like the Juke and Murano Cabriolet get the green light?

3. Do you really want to become Mitsubishi? Because this is how you do it!

I'm done with Nissan if they mess up the Z. Get your crap together!

This is coming from someone who owns a Murano.

Hand me down from parents. It's a decent DD, but the CVT... My first car purchase will be the twins after graduation, but the Z and mustang have always been on my attainable dream car list.

Exactly. It was that POS L-series motor they put in it rather than an K or even an R18 out of the base civic...

I kind of want to ride a bicycle now while having a raging hard on and thinking about a Nissan SUV. At lest that's what I got from that commercial.

If they really replace the Z with a crossover I will forever swear off nissan. The z is an iconic sports car. It's been a 2 door hatchback for 46 years. How in the HELL do you get the idea to mash it up with a fugly a$$ SUV?!?! This is ridiculous beyond belief. I was looking forward to the next Z. I've always had Z's and I'll be damned if I ever buy an SUV with a Z badge on it. /rant

The first time I saw a Cabriolet, I just thought... what the hell is that? Did someone lift up a convertible??

Why can't they just make a sleek sports car instead of all of these oddities "inspired by" their classics? :/

Maybe the people with broken down PT Cruiser convertibles wanted a new ride.

You know how much some of them like the look of a bathtub on wheels.
