Same thing. Our used car department doesn’t budge on the list price.

Anyone else notice the grille badge says "BRZ tS" now instead of just "tS"?

As for the prices of 2018 vs 2020 tS's, I can actually see the 18's being worth more down the road, as the 2020's are lacking the STI aero and dry carbon wing, and didn't replace them with anything.
If the '20 tS had chosen higher impact colors like the previous color series had, I could see them holding almost equal value to the standard color '18's, but I think for most buyers the difference between a pearl white and a solid white won't hold enough difference.
I'm just glad the tS came back.
If I didn't have one already, I'd view this as a second chance to get one, but since I already have an '18 and the '20 offers less than my current car, I'm not going to be running out to "upgrade".

Just realized the 2020 will be the most common tS variant.
300 Ceramic White '20
226 World Rally Blue '18
170 Crystal White Pearl '18
104 Crystal Black Silica '18

At least the watered-down tS is still a better car than the 86 Hakone, which doesn't even get brembos here like it does in every other market.

That's one of the most confusing things about it. Why wouldn't it at least have the option? But then again as far as I know the performance package is factory-installed, not port-installed option so they would've had to make the decision outright, I guess.

The Premium trim already seems scarcer (?) than Limited, and now completely gone for 2020. Any published data / stats that break down past sales by Premium vs. Limited? (Searches easily reveal overall e.g. US sales but nothing I could find that's trim specific.)

The pricing on the 2020 tS is interesting.
2018: $33,495
2020: $32,395

Total cost of parts (from Subaru) to give the 2020 the same aero as the 2018:
$5,035.

I know bundling parts as part of a factory build saves a lot of money, but the 2018 seems like you're getting $5k worth of STI parts for only $1100.
The STI aero kit without the tS wing is $1,235. I'm kinda surprised they didn't include it like they did on the later small-winged JDM tS's.

Yeah when the manual transmission is dead in 20 years the ‘18 tS will be the one to get. People like me will pay good money for a clean, one-owner car with low miles.

I wonder if they'll just use the updated rear bumper covers found on 86's.

I’m definitely interested. I never liked the Ts wing. This would be a good excuse to trade in my RS 2.0. Maybe it would help me forget the fact I can’t have a Zupra

This is way more interesting then the 2018. All the same suspension stuff, unique color vs shared, 300 vs 500. I cancelled my 2018 order once I saw the kit/wing in person. The bronze wheels are nice too.

The 2020 tS is the model I would love to get. the first tS styling being too loud for my taste. Someone is going to inevitably get a great deal on the 2020 model sometime next year, maybe 28k out the door. I'm jelly and should have waited before purchasing my '17 PP.... but oh well, the year and experience and was all worth it.

You're selling your tS? but you were our fearless leader!

I love my '18 tS, the only thing that interests me about the '20 tS is the bronze wheels, and I can probably get those through a trade if I wanted.
