We never went to production on those. With enough interest, we will gladly do a run of this style though.

Are there enough people interested?

Thanks,
Eric

Are the rear vents effective enough that you can seal off the oem under tray?

Are the normal ones effective enough to do so?

Aside obvious aesthetics, how effective are the rear louvers, really? I'm not asking for them to vent raw flames of heat, but so long as they're not completely useless, I may be interested.

The OE is pretty sealed to start with; I'm not sure how sealed you are talking though. The rear vents are still functioning; but not to the extent the front (4) are.

They are not useless due to wickers. The wickers are tall enough to still trip the boundary layer; thus creating a low-pressure pocket behind the wicker to increase evacuation. Without the wicker, I could see flow going into the vents at speed due to the high-pressure zone from the windshield. This is educated speculation though as we did not do a ton of testing on the rear louvers.

@RFB

I am sure the ones you made may fit better, however I did not have an issue getting the larger ones you make already to fit there.

I apologize, we have been running around with other projects.

I promise I'll look into doing a small run of these rear vents for those interested.

If he could post some pics on IG outside of the story even that would be cool. Just sucks when they disappear so quick.
Sorry for forgetting about this. Here are photos of our S550 GT Spec louvers on Clay's car.

And a few customers who ended up liking it and going for it as well.
