Why does the G Force Meter go away as soon as I drive?

I have a G-Force meter in my BRZ tS and I noticed that the screen switches to something else, and I can't access it anymore as soon as I start driving.

Anyone knows the reasons behind it? and is there a way to make it stay on?

So you can't watch it while you drive.

This is the normal behavior for BRZ. Just Toyota works when you drive.

I thought there’s a screen that says the G meter is not displayable during driving.. It’s to be used as a reference, not as an actual live meter.

Here you go bud

Eh to be fair, the 86 (or some trims of the 86 anyway) actually does have a live G meter that is displayable during driving.

Not to take away from what @Ultramaroon said, since clearly it's a safety thing but it's definitely still a feature; just not on BRZ's for some reason. Maybe Subaru is stricter than Toyota when it comes to safety for this kind of stuff.

Your assumption is correct

My 86 has it, although trying to max it out on all points of the compass was kinda fun, for about 1 minute.

The 45,135,225, and 315-degree vectors would be the most fun, I'm guessing.

All of them, more luck than good drills though.
