"Closed Deck" Disadvantages?

Hello Folks! Are there any disadvantages (serious/not so serious) to getting a closed deck installed on the FA20 bottom end?

possibly slightly worse cooling / detonation resistance but if you're aiming for big power 400Bhp + then probably a good idea to help prevent issues with block cracking
not that we've seen blocks breaking

To the best of my knowledge, closed deck options on EJ motors are a good solution because the EJ has notoriously thin cylinder walls. The FA has MUCH thicker cylinder walls. The general consensus is that the cons outweigh the pros on that engine modification for the FA. Unless your power goals are 600whp+, you shouldnt need this.
