I tried hard to ignore the evidence. I really wanted to like Toni, because he really is a nice guy when you meet or talk to him. He seems genuine. The best con men usually do. But people who are just overwhelmed or who want to make right usually don't require a long string of busted up llc's and don't have the obvious rinse-and-repeat history of scamming other communities that he has. This is clearly a calculated move, and it's not his first rodeo.

I can't in good conscience defend him any longer, as much as I wish things had turned out differently. It's just all far too obvious at this point.

Even though we seem to be at odds lately (he's not my biggest fan, and I'm not his lol) I'd love for him to get it together, make a genuine change and make right by all those people out there that have been wronged in one way or another. The history wouldn't suggest that he has any interest in that. You know what they say about those who don't learn from history...
Exactly the way I feel. He is a nice guy, and I was definitely trying to send him business immediately after my dyno tune, but then he couldn't fix all the drivability issues and the entire @Frs300 saga was unfolding. Now I definitely can't recommend him any longer, and I am sure he is not a huge fan of mine.

It would be wise to be very careful about providing legal advice - especially before you get your license.

That said, if the state he's located in has laws similar to Ohio, it likely won't be difficult to make a case based on Consumer Sales Practices violations. Unfair/deceptive/unconscionable acts or practices. Triple damages and attorney fees in both states I practice in. His mileage may vary depending on state law. Ohio's statutes on consumer sales violations are here:

http://codes.ohio.gov/orc/1345.02

http://codes.ohio.gov/orc/1345.03

And these are key for motor vehicle repairs. Both of them helped settle a case I had (personally) awhile back - the specific requirements upon the mechanic/shop:

http://codes.ohio.gov/oac/109%3A4-3-13

http://codes.ohio.gov/oac/109:4-3-09

You will notice that the statutes are quite specific about what shops are required to do. I expect that most shops are committing multiple violations every day without even realizing it.
Guy runs an LLC and if its gone bust you are SOL.

He thanks your post but says nothing.

I'm confused about you and lexus are you friends he seems to imply and infer that you are, then again he insists FA20club is great.

Saw that last night. I almost joined just to warn them. I like how "EFI LOGIC" posted in that thread an offer to make local contact. That is the name of another company Doyen owns.

Lesson, kids.

If there is one or two members specifically interested in voicing their opinion on how great a company is, they're part of it. I love certain companies but they're adults and can handle their own shit. They don't need an unofficial spokesman, and if they did, they're hurting.

I don't see anyone needing to post in every single FullBlown, MAPerformance, Evasive, etc., thread saying how good they are. We don't have to.

Pretty sure I said something along the line while he was still playing the forum members as fools and posing as the nice detail guy.
